Base in Manado for smooth logistics and to add day trips beyond the park, or stay on Bunaken or Siladen for short boat rides and early entries. Expect warm water around 27°C, visibility often 15 m to 30 m, and reliable turtle encounters. Most diving is boat-based with tide-driven currents, which makes for easy drifts on calm days and exciting rides when the current picks up.
