When To Go

Season planner for Grand Cayman

Diving is year-round. Dec to Mar can bring northerly Christmas winds that shut down the North Wall but the west and south usually stay diveable. Apr to Aug is glassier with peak visibility and warm water around 29°C. Aug to Oct is the heart of hurricane season; seas are often calm yet forecasts deserve close attention. Summer brings silverside baitballs to George Town caverns and bioluminescence is best around new moon all year.
