Getting there

Most visitors fly into Cancun International (CUN), then continue by road to the ferry port at Chiquila.

CONANP references a route to Chiquila of about 140 km from Cancun via Kantunilkin.
Ferries run from Chiquila to Holbox throughout the day with multiple operators; schedules can shift by season and weather.
If you drive, you will park on the mainland in Chiquila and continue on foot to the ferry.
On arrival to Holbox, hotels are reached on foot or by golf cart taxi on sandy streets.
