Pula Airport is the natural gateway for this four-hub trip. It sits close to Pula and is served mainly by seasonal European routes, so the practical airline map changes by month and year. From the airport, arrange a rental car, taxi, private transfer, hotel pickup, or the official shuttle to Pula's main bus station. Rovinj, Porec, and Rabac then require an onward road transfer.
When Pula flights do not match the trip dates, compare Trieste, Venice, Ljubljana, Zagreb, and Rijeka, allowing for a longer road journey and any cross-border rental restrictions. Seasonal passenger vessels also connect Venice with Istrian ports, including Porec, Rovinj, and Pula, but they are not dependable year-round substitutes for a flight. A car remains the most flexible tool for combining dive centers, early boats, inland attractions, and gear-heavy transfers.
A rental car is the most efficient choice for a multi-hub water trip. It simplifies early departures, wet gear, Pula-Rovinj-Porec transfers, Kamenjak, Fazana, and the cross-peninsula move to Rabac.
