Operator Checklist
Book a local guide for the first dive and disclose certification, recent cold-water experience, drysuit status, and maximum comfortable depth. Confirm whether access is by public shore, campsite, private property, or boat, and whether parking must be reserved. Ask in advance about cylinder valve type, nitrox or mixed-gas availability, rental drysuits, stage cylinders, and oxygen provision. Avoid building an itinerary that crosses the whole lake each day. Keep recreational and technical teams on separate plans unless the operator has designed a shared shallow objective.
