Confirm these fees before you book so your operator plan and day budget match what you will pay onsite.
Cascais itself does not have a universal diving permit for visitors, but specific sites and protected areas have rules. Budget for the Cascais municipal overnight tourist tax, plus BerlengasPass if you plan the islands. Organized groups may need permission in the Arrabida Marine Park, and some Cascais dives require maritime authorization arranged by local operators.
