When To Go · Destination Guide
Cold, clear limestone passages beneath one of Europe's great karst landscapes
When to go
For a mixed cavediving and touring trip, target May to June or September to October.
Best overall window
Comfortable touring weather, strong attraction coverage, and generally favorable cavetrip planning.
Outside that window
Quieter travel and occasional excellent dry spells, but wetseason cave response and reduced attraction schedules require flexibility.
Start with the overall answer, then switch only when scuba, freedive, snorkel, or topside timing changes the trip in a meaningful way.
