Fly to Nassau through Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) on New Providence, the local airport for this visitor region. From there, use a licensed taxi, reserved hotel transfer or rental car to reach Nassau or Cable Beach accommodations and the southwest coast. Cruise passengers may arrive at Nassau port and sometimes arrange a time-specific day activity, but cruise calls do not evidence dive liveaboard operations or a guaranteed connection. The guide does not cover ferry or flight trips to any other Bahamian island. The visitor transport board confirms taxis at the airport and the lack of conventional app ridesharing.
Nassau's visitor transportation guide identifies taxis, rental cars, some hotel shuttles and jitney buses; Uber and Lyft are not available under the published guidance. Jitneys are useful mainly around Nassau and Cable Beach and should not be assumed to reach southwest tour bases or outlying parks.
