When To Go · Destination Guide
Cold water, living shipwrecks and slack-water precision off the Dutch coast
When to go
Plan the core wreckdiving trip for May through October, when local operators concentrate their offshore schedule, daylight is generous and water is warmer.
Best overall window
Main offshore schedule, longer daylight and warmer water; visibility still ranges from poor to exceptional.
Outside that window
Offshore wreck diving is least reliable; prioritize local training, museums and urban travel.
Start with the overall answer, then switch only when scuba, freedive, snorkel, or topside timing changes the trip in a meaningful way.
The overall row stays visible so you can compare it against the currently selected scope.
