Palm Beach is a year-round destination with two main planning modes: a drier, cooler stretch (roughly November to April) and a hotter, wetter stretch (roughly May to October). Expect water temperatures around 22°C to 25°C in winter and closer to 28°C to 30°C in summer. Winter cold fronts can bring wind, swell, and last-minute charter cancellations, so add buffer days. Summer often offers the most comfortable water for long drifts, but afternoon thunderstorms are common and Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. Blue Heron Bridge is tide-dependent in every month, so build your schedule around slack tide. Seasonal highlights include lemon sharks in Jupiter in January to March, sea turtle nesting March to October, and goliath grouper aggregations in August and September.
