Granite reefs, giant tortoise day trips, and an easy two-island rhythm in Seychelles
Pick an activity mode to compare signature sites, skill fit, and gear planning notes before you lock your trip.
Praslin and La Digue are at their best for guided granite-reef boat diving. White Tip Divers, Cote d'Or Octopus, and UDive Centre on Praslin, plus Trek Divers on La Digue, all work weather-first and choose sites around St. Pierre, White Bank, Curieuse, and the offshore banks according to wind and swell. Easy warm-up dives sit in the shallows, but the better-known offshore sites add current, boulders, and swim-through style passages that feel distinctly Seychellois. Expect turtles, rays, octopus, schooling snapper, barracuda, and regular reef shark sightings rather than a single guaranteed big-animal draw.
A classic innerislands granite dive with stacked boulders, narrow channels, and schooling reef life from about 5 m to 25 m.
One of the better Praslinarea reefs for classic fish life and shark potential, with submerged granite blocks and productive middepth terrain around 15 m to 22 m.
An easy favorite for check dives, beginnerfriendly profiles, and photographers who want bright shallow granite scenery at roughly 4 m to 12 m.
A stronger offshore option with boulder passages, more water movement, and a higheradventure feel between about 15 m and 25 m.
