Rangiroa does not normally use a separate public diver tag like some Caribbean marine parks. Budget instead for accommodation taxes, operator-priced dives and excursions, optional gear or nitrox, pearl farm visits, and tips. French Polynesia's broad marine protection framework still applies: do not touch coral, feed wildlife, chase dolphins, or harass sharks and rays.
