When to go
South Male Atoll is diveable yearround, but conditions shift with the monsoons.
Best overall window
Drier weather, calmer seas, and better overall visibility. Expect lighter winds around 15 km/h to 22 km/h.
Outside that window
Southwest monsoon: more frequent showers and wind pulses around 25 km/h to 35 km/h. Boat transfers can be choppier.
