Parque Nuevo is a shallow artificial reef park facing Puerto Madryn, built from sunk structures and debris to create a compact beginner-friendly dive site. It works well for checkouts and first guided outings because the terrain is easy to read and the dive is shaped more by weather and water movement than by depth. Expect a Patagonian cold-water dive with clear structure, sheltered features, and plenty of fish-holding cover.
