Höbarthwand is a freshwater wall dive with a shallow shelf and drop-off.
Höbarthwand is a steep freshwater wall on Traunsee with a very shallow shore shelf that drops into a deeper face. Entry is by stone steps near the parking area, then a buoy line leads you toward the wall once you leave the shelf. The site is known more for its wall geometry, shells, and sponges than for big fish counts, and it works best when you have calm water, cold-water protection, and a clean plan for the return along the wall.
