Vrbnik Cave
A short underwater cave with an entrance about 4 m across, allowing a few divers to enter side by side. The passage is roughly 25 m long and features a narrow siphon that lets a beam of sunlight reach the middle of the cave. The cave floor has fine sediment that can easily be disturbed. Around the entrance, the rock is marked by small cracks and holes that provide shelter for small fish and crayfish.
Typical conditions
An overhead cave environment with a silty bottom; a narrow siphon allows sunlight to penetrate into the center of the cave.
Hazards
Safety notes
Maintain good buoyancy control and avoid kicking up sediment on the cave floor, as it can quickly reduce visibility. Use caution when entering and exiting due to the overhead environment.
Tailored notes for different activities.
Scuba
The entrance is about 4 m wide and the cave extends roughly 25 m, with an overhead section and a silty floor that requires careful finning.
