Marseille, the Calanques and Côte Bleue
Shallow buoy-marked reef dive with an easy profile.
Shallow buoy-marked reef dive with an easy profile.
Elevine Ouest is a shallow west-buoy reef on the Côte Bleue, set up as an easy buoy-marked route rather than a deep-profile challenge. The site works best as a slow scenic pass over rocky reef and small life, with the shallow start giving way to a comfortable working band where buoyancy and the nudibranch-and-wrasse details matter more than depth.
Safety Notes
Keep the dive within the buoyed shallow route and maintain easy buoyancy around the reef.
Access Restrictions
Use the western buoy and stay on the marked shallow route.
Legal Notes
Follow the site marking and any local access guidance for the Côte Bleue marine area.

Scuba Diving
A shallow, easy scuba dive with most of the profile in a comfortable reef band.
Freediving
The shallow profile could suit very controlled surface work, but the site is mainly a beginner scuba reef.
Snorkeling
Calm-day snorkeling can work over the shallow reef, but the site is mostly used as an easy scuba pass.
