Freshwater training lake with beach access near Paderborn.
A quiet inland training site with a sandy beach entry, gravel walls, old trees, and enough structure for buoyancy and navigation practice.
About Waldsee
A relaxed freshwater dive at Waldsee in Paderborn-Schloß Neuhaus, set right beside the camping area and built for easy entry and training. The site is mostly about low-stress practice, with overgrown rubble, old trees, and a simple lake profile that works well for buoyancy, navigation, and refresher dives. It is not a high-adrenaline site, but it is dependable when you want a controlled inland session with a clear entry and a practical training feel. The whole setup is ideal for divers who want a no-fuss lake day rather than a scenic reef profile.
