The Anina is a deep cargo-vessel wreck off Grenada resting on her starboard side between nearby reefs, with open deck sections, cargo structure, and orange cup coral already colonizing the shaded steel. Most dives treat it as an advanced boat wreck where depth, current, and blue-water exposure are part of the plan, while schools of jacks, barracuda, angelfish, blennies, and other reef life move around the hull.

Depth range, seasonality, and planning context.
Reported Depth
20m - 33m
Depth Note
Public dive profiles place the top of the wreck around 20 m and the seabed near 31-33 m, with the vessel lying on its starboard side between reef structure.
Typical Conditions
Usually dived as a deep boat wreck with moderate current and workable visibility around 12-18 m, with conditions changing more noticeably than on sheltered shallow reefs.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Depth and wreck structure increase risk; use appropriate training and gas planning for a 31 m wreck dive.
Access Restrictions
Boat-only access through local dive operators; this is not a shore-entry wreck.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
A deep wreck dive at around 31 m.
Freediving
The Anina is not a practical freedive site because the wreck lies deep and is normally dived as an advanced scuba wreck from a boat.
Snorkeling
The Anina is too deep for meaningful snorkeling and is operated as a scuba-only wreck dive.
