Hildur (Wreck)
About Hildur (Wreck)
This ship was sunk in 2007 to create an artificial reef and now rests in about 36 m, slightly off a wall. The wreck is known for large black coral trees and other deep-water corals and sponges. Marine life reported around the wreck includes barracuda, schoolmaster snapper, angelfish, and stingrays. Divers can also see items from the original vessel such as fire extinguishers; care is needed around silt inside the cargo hold.
