Current-prone house reef with coral and turtle life.
Dan's Reef is a current-sensitive house reef on the Toyapakeh side of Nusa Penida, where shallow reef steps give way to a longer sloping drop lined with coral growth and resident reef life. It is most often dived from shore, though boats also use the site, and the dive is best planned around manageable tidal windows because water movement can build quickly and turn the reef into a more demanding swim.
