About Lembongan Bay
Lembongan Bay, also known as Jungut Batu, is a shallow dive site suitable for novice divers, with a maximum depth of around 10 meters. The site features a sandy bottom interspersed with coral bommies, which provide habitat for a variety of marine life, including moray eels, frogfish, and unicornfish. Due to its shallow depth and relatively protected setting, Lembongan Bay is also a good location for night dives, where additional species such as crustaceans and nocturnal fish can be observed. It is commonly used for training dives, check dives, and skill practice, thanks to its simple topography and easy conditions. However, the site can be affected by swell, particularly when waves enter the bay, which may reduce visibility and make entry and exit less comfortable. When conditions are calm, it offers an easy and controlled environment for both beginner divers and training activities.
