The Bidone, Soverato is a blue-water boat dive where descent and ascent happen in open water without anchoring. Large abandoned nets are the main hazard because they can snag gear, so the site is best suited to experienced divers. Moray eels often gather among the nets, and groupers, tuna, and large octopuses are also reported. It is a challenging open-water site rather than a relaxed reef dive.
