Shallow two-way reef with strong macro life
Shallow two-way reef with strong macro life
Boat access and route choice make a local dive center the practical baseline.
Kandhoo faru is a shallow Maldives reef dive where the top of the site begins almost at the surface and some sections stand up like a wall. It is an easy two-way reef to read, but it still rewards a controlled pace because the appeal is the changing shape of the reef and the amount of small life packed into it. Plan it as a relaxed boat dive with a local operator. The site is best when you want a straightforward route with plenty of macro interest, plus the chance of bigger fish moving through the area.
