Batu Chaping is an east-side Perhentian boat dive built around large boulders, overhangs, and swim-through features that break up the reef into a more structured route. Divers usually move between rock sections and sandy patches while looking for reef fish and rays, making it a more terrain-driven intermediate dive than an open reef drift.
