A local dive center is the normal way to work the boat timing and current window.
Magu 2 is a large Maldives thila in the Vagaali channel, usually reached by boat from Rannalhi. It has a shallow top reef, a current-sensitive profile, and a big-fish mix that includes sharks, rays, turtles, and plenty of smaller reef life. The site is best when the current is working for you and you want a lively wall-and-thila dive rather than a quiet sand-flat drift.

Scuba Diving
Best as an intermediate boat dive with strong current and a lively north wall. It rewards good trim and a controlled drift line.
Freediving
Not a freedive-first site because current and depth make it a guided scuba thila.
Snorkeling
Not a snorkel site.
