Fox Cove is an outer‑fiord dive in Fiordland with a rocky reef that slopes down onto a sandy bottom inside the cove. The terrain supports a relaxed reef-and-sand route with open views toward the northern outer coastline. Colourful kelp and other coastal fish life are common along the reef. Conditions vary with wind direction, with more exposure in north to northwest winds and better shelter in southwesterlies.
