About HOME BAY - GMI
HOME BAY - GMI is a sheltered anchorage on the west side of Great Mercury Island, with a sandy seabed, big seagrass patches, and easy water time on calm days. The bay is used by boats overnight, has scallop grounds that are closed to harvest, and offers simple snorkeling over reef patches with goatfish, flatfish, stingrays, and nudibranchs.
