Ngatamahine Point is an exposed wall dive on the northern tip of Little Barrier Island in the Hauraki Gulf. Large rock faces and valleys start from the shoreline and fall away quickly, with kelp-covered terrain and kina barrens giving the shallows plenty of texture. On calm days it becomes a rewarding, careful dive for people who want to work the wall slowly and keep close attention on depth as the structure drops off.
