About Barracuda Deep
Barracuda Deep is one of the more exposed advanced wall dives off Pandan Island, where the reef edge opens toward the South China Sea and schooling midwater fish often sweep past the drop. The wall combines reef growth with blue-water action, so divers come here for barracuda, eagle rays, mackerel, trevally, and other passing pelagics rather than a sheltered easy cruise. It is best suited to experienced divers who are comfortable with deeper profiles, open water, and conditions that can change faster than at the island's calmer reef sites.
