Boat access and pickup are the normal logistics.
Boat drop onto a compact Taravu shoal; the east side is gentler, the west side falls away faster, so it suits relaxed multilevel dives.
About Sec du Taravu
Boat-access rocky shoal off the Taravu coast with a shallow eastern platform and a steeper western face. It works well as a compact multilevel scuba stop, and the profile also makes sense for night dives when the sea is settled. The site is best approached as a straightforward open-water boat drop rather than a broad reef, with fish and invertebrates concentrated around the rock edges.

Scuba Diving
A multilevel scuba profile works well here, with a gentler side and a faster drop on the outer edge. The site is also workable for night dives when the boat briefing is tight.
Freediving
Only for experienced freedivers on a very calm day; the site is more naturally a scuba target than a long breath-hold objective.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is limited and weather-dependent; it only makes sense when the surface is calm and the boat team judges the shoal safe to work from above.
