Overview
Ajaccio and Propriano form a strong two-base Corsica trip rather than a single compact resort stay. Ajaccio combines the Iles Sanguinaires, rocky arches, the P51 Mustang aircraft wreck, beginner sites around Porticcio, and one of France's most developed open-water freediving programs. Propriano opens the Gulf of Valinco, where Les Cathedrales, the Vallee des Merous, pinnacles, black-coral slopes, sheltered coves, and Campomoro create a wider spread from first dives to advanced walls.
