About 2 Mile Stringer

2 Mile Stringer is a shallow boat dive on Sodwana's inner reef line, built around two rocky outcrops rising from open sand just beyond the backline. The site is known for schooling snapper and goatfish, cleaning stations, rays, potato bass, moray eels, frogfish, paperfish, and other small critters that make it a strong fish-life and macro dive. It is usually chosen when the sea is flat and the current stays manageable. Divers typically work between the two bommies and adjacent sand patches, watching for juvenile fish activity on the reef and larger visitors moving through the blue.
