Atalaya
About Atalaya
This is a deep dive in the northern area of Lobos, starting on a volcanic platform around 22 m and descending north along a ridge to about 32–34 m. The ridge forms an overhang with cracks and tunnels, creating a dramatic volcanic seascape. Under the overhang divers commonly see lobsters, hermit crabs, nudibranchs, sponges and anemones, along with schooling fish such as barracuda, groupers, bream and rays.
