A thick rocky shoal rises from a flat sandy bottom and extends for nearly a kilometer, running perpendicular to El Río. The area is known locally as the Cliff of Needles. This zone includes multiple nearby dive spots, with the Lobster Cliff located to the south and the Cave of the Kingfish to the north.
