Benskär is an exposed west-coast island dive where the better route usually runs along the south and southeast side, following sloping rock and broken boulders down toward sand. Near the lighthouse the terrain steepens into smaller drops, so the dive shifts from an easy slope into a more textured wall-and-ledge profile without becoming especially technical. Access is straightforward by boat with workable anchoring or bow-to positioning, but the site still feels open to weather and cold-water visibility swings.
