Local Tjurkö context.
Easy shore-access wreck with part of the hull above water, so it suits beginners, snorkelers, and mixed groups.
About Marie
Marie is a sheltered-bay wreck on Tjurkö in Blekinge, and part of the wreck still breaks the surface, which makes the site easy to orient on and unusually friendly for mixed groups. The dive is shallow and simple to stage, so it works well as a family-friendly wreck or a first Baltic wreck rather than a deep technical outing. Small coastal fish and vegetation live around the wreck, with sticklebacks and European flounder often noted.
