This site lies off the north end of the 7th island in the Similan Islands, around the northern point of a long, north–south oriented island. The underwater landscape features granite boulders shaped by tidal currents, creating stepped contours rising from the bottom. Clear visibility is typical, with fish life schooling around the outside of the point. Early mornings can bring sharks in the deeper areas.
