RIB launch from Fort Bovisand is the normal approach.
Shag Stone is a RIB-access reef off Fort Bovisand in Plymouth Sound, with a stony seabed of green and purple pebbles cut by seaweed-filled gullies. Dogfish, rays, wrasse, and crabs are the signature life, so the dive feels like a classic South Devon boat outing with plenty to watch on the rock and in the gullies. Plan around local conditions, keep an eye on visibility, and use steady buoyancy over the seaweed channels.
