Ciklonska Beach turned out to be an amazing spot for both snorkeling and shallow freediving. The visibility was great, and the mix of rocky coastline with calm waters made it really fun to explore. It felt safe and accessible, even for longer sessions.
I went snorkeling and did some casual freediving up to 6 meters near Fort São João Baptista, and it was amazing! The water is super clear with great visibility, making it perfect for snorkeling. I saw everything from sea cucumbers to schools of local fish. There are deeper areas for those who want to go further, but even at shallow depths, the marine life and beauty of the place really stand out.
My favorite cenote in all of Quintana Roo! I went there to train freediving and had an amazing time —crystal-clear water and lots of life below the surface. I saw several schools of different fish species and even the friendly crocodile that lives in the cenote. A peaceful, beautiful spot to explore, train, or just relax with friends and family.
I absolutely loved Cenote Puerta Maya, it’s easily one of my favorite spots in the Riviera Maya. The water is incredibly clear, the surroundings are lush and peaceful, and it’s a perfect place to spend the day with family or friends. I really enjoyed snorkeling and loved training freediving there, especially since the open area isn’t too deep. The atmosphere is calm and magical, making it ideal for both relaxing and exploring nature in a unique and unforgettable way.
I dove at 16 meters deep and it was amazing! The coral reef is beautiful, full of life and colorful fish, and I saw a very big lobster with its huge antennas sticking out of its hole. The water had excellent visibility, making the experience even more special and unforgettable.
I loved Cenote Zacil-Ha! It’s small, beautiful, and has crystal-clear water. You can easily dive into little caves, and there are always small fish swimming around. A peaceful, charming spot to relax and enjoy nature.
We rented a paddleboard right on the beach in front of the island and spent hours snorkeling around. The water was warm, calm, and full of life, with schools of fish everywhere. A perfect spot to relax, explore, and enjoy nature.
I dove to a depth of 14 meters and had the incredible chance to see a massive, beautiful eagle ray swimming very close to me. I also spotted a few moray eels and lots of small, colorful reef fish. The visibility was excellent!
The wreck was much bigger than I expected! Only the bow was visible when I dove — the rest was covered by sand. The water in Cabo Frio is super cold, but the dive was really enjoyable. It can feel a bit eerie seeing the dark shape of the wreck just below you, but it’s an amazing experience. I reached about 3 meters deep to get a closer look at the ship.
I had the chance to dive several times at Praia dos Amores, and every time I saw green turtles swimming peacefully. With a max depth of around 7 meters, it’s a great spot for beginner freedivers. The water is crystal clear with excellent visibility!
Warm and calm waters, perfect for spending the day with family or friends. With no waves, it’s ideal for kayaking, swimming, or just relaxing by the shore.
My first dive and an unforgettable experience! Reached 12 meters with good visibility despite choppy seas. Saw lots of fish, sea cucumbers, and beautiful corals. I loved it so much, I decided to take the Open Water course!
