When To Go
Season planner for Greece
Greece runs on Mediterranean seasonality. For most travelers, May to October is the main water window, with the warmest seas in July to September. July and August are also the windiest months in the Aegean because of the Meltemi, so plan leeward sites or consider the Ionian and south-facing coasts. April and November can be excellent for divers who prefer fewer crowds and are comfortable with cooler water. Winter is quiet on many islands, but mainland hubs and parts of the south can still deliver dive days if you pack warm exposure and keep plans flexible.
