Granite islands, coral atolls, and warm-water adventures in one Indian Ocean country
Confirm these fees before you book so your operator plan and day budget match what you will pay onsite.
Seychelles trip math is not just flights and hotels. Most travelers should budget for four separate cost layers: Travel Authorisation, the tourism sustainability levy, marine-park entries on Inner-Island day trips, and occasional transport-specific extras such as private mooring or special-access permits.
| Fee | Amount | Applies to | Where to pay | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Travel Authorisation | EUR 10.90 standard adult processing Per entry | All incoming travelers | Official Seychelles Travel Authorisation portal or E-Border app | Premium and expedited options cost more. Approval must be secured before departure to Seychelles. |
| Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy | SCR 75 to SCR 100 per person per night Per night | Most visitors aged over 12 staying in medium, large, island-resort, or yacht accommodation | Collected by accommodation or yacht operator | From 1 January 2026, small tourism establishments with 1 to 24 rooms are exempt. Medium properties charge SCR 75. Large properties, island resorts, and yachts charge SCR 100. |
| Inner-Island marine park entry | SCR 200 per non-resident adult Per visit | Ste. Anne, Port Launay, Baie Ternay, and Ile Cocos visits | Through authorized operators or the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority system | Check whether your boat operator has included the park ticket or expects you to pay separately. |
| Curieuse entry | SCR 300 per non-resident adult Per visit | Curieuse island and marine area visits | Through authorized operators or the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority system | Curieuse is one of the most popular wildlife and snorkel day trips from Praslin, so this fee appears often in mixed-group itineraries. |
| Overnight marine park mooring permit | SCR 250 per vessel per night Per night | Vessels mooring overnight in selected marine parks | Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority | Relevant mainly for yacht charters and special-interest liveaboard style itineraries rather than ordinary hotel-based travelers. |
| Aldabra access authorisation | Prior authorisation required Trip-specific | Aldabra visits, especially by private yacht or expedition program | Seychelles Islands Foundation | Aldabra is tightly controlled. Access is limited, regulated, and not a standard casual add-on. |
