Remote Coral Triangle reefs, WWII wrecks and kastom-managed lagoons
Confirm these fees before you book so your operator plan and day budget match what you will pay onsite.
Solomon Islands does not operate like a single-fee national dive park. Formal protected areas exist, but many daily reef, beach and village fees come from customary ownership and local management. The cleanest approach is to book operators who include or clearly itemize kastom, marine, port, park and landing fees. Carry cash for local payments and confirm liveaboard extras before boarding.
| Fee | Amount | Applies to | Where to pay | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Some fees are included, some are mandatory extras, and some are collected in cash or card onboard. |
| Customary landing, village, cultural or beach fees | Varies, usually paid in SBD cash Per visit, person, group or landing | Snorkeling, beach stops, village visits, cultural sites and some trail access | Through local guides, lodge staff, village representatives or resource owners | Paying through a recognized guide reduces misunderstandings and supports local access agreements. |
