When To Go

Season planner for Turkey

Turkey's main water season runs from May through October. For the best balance of warm water and fewer crowds, aim for May to June or September to October. July and August deliver the warmest sea, but the Aegean can be windier and bays busier. Winter diving is possible on the south coast in calm windows, but expect cooler water and fewer boats.
