Late May to June and September to early October offer the best combined answer for diving, snorkeling, ferries and topside exploration.

Warmseason boats and generally comfortable island exploration, with September and early October retaining summer sea warmth
Outside that window
Local stays remain possible, but fewer sailings and more weather dependence favor a oneisland base over rapid island hopping
