When To Go
Season planner for Buzios
Buzios has warm, beach-forward weather most of the year, but conditions change with rain, wind, and the nearby Cabo Frio upwelling system. Summer (Dec to Mar) is hottest and often rainier, with peak crowds and busy boat traffic. Autumn and spring (Apr to Jun and Sep to Nov) tend to balance manageable crowds with good water time. Winter (Jul and Aug) is drier and pleasant topside, but the sea can feel cooler and windier, and thermoclines are more likely.
