Operator Checklist
Book early for July and August, and ask operators whether they are separating Open Water, Advanced, and overhead-capable divers. Bring certification cards, recent logbook proof, and insurance details. Night dives, cave routes, and wreck penetration should only be done with licensed local providers and the correct training. Greece has strict underwater antiquities protections, so do not touch, collect, move, or disturb artifacts, wreck material, shells with living animals, or seagrass.
