When to go
Cres and Losinj are visitable yearround, but the easiest combined seaandland trip runs from May through early October.
Best overall window
Active dive and boat schedules, comfortable land weather, and a strong balance between water time and island exploration.
Outside that window
Surface chop can add a little more texture on exposed entries.
Start with the overall answer, then switch only when scuba, freedive, snorkel, or topside timing changes the trip in a meaningful way.
