Cold-water wrecks, jewel-anemone walls and grey seals beyond Land's End

The Isles of Scilly are reached from Cornwall and southwest England by fixed-wing aircraft, helicopter or passenger ferry.
A scuba group carrying cylinders, weight systems or large camera cases will usually find the ferry's baggage model easier, but current rules and container procedures must be checked directly. All three modes can be disrupted by Atlantic weather. Add a mainland buffer before a fixed charter start and avoid a tight same-day international connection on the return.
Walking is the default on the compact islands. St Mary's adds taxis, a seasonal bus and bicycle hire; Tresco is well suited to bicycles and hired golf buggies under local rules.
