Fly or travel overland to Split, then continue by sea. Split Airport is around 24 km from the central ferry and bus terminals. A direct airport shuttle normally takes about 30 minutes outside heavy traffic and stops beside the ferry port. Jadrolinija line 602 serves Split-Vis year-round, with a published crossing time of 140 minutes and a vehicle option. A seasonal fast-ship route via Bol and Hvar adds passenger capacity from June through September. Build a substantial connection buffer or overnight in Split, especially after an international flight. Bisevo is reached from Komiza by the state passenger boat line 612 or by a weather-dependent excursion or transfer boat, not by road or a normal car ferry.
Vis Town and Komiza are linked by island roads and local bus, taxi, rental-car, scooter, bicycle, or private-transfer options. Service frequency changes by season and may be coordinated around ferry arrivals rather than a dense urban timetable.
